Who we are

Lucht Applications LLC (“we”, “us”) operates this site and related services. Contact: see the Email link in the header on the home page or use the contact form.

What we collect

If you use our contact or project forms, we collect what you submit (for example name, email, message, and optional fields such as a website URL or company name). On the new project and site update forms you may also attach a small number of reference images (for example inspiration or screenshots of an existing site or UI). Those images are used for scoping and quoting; they are not published on our marketing site. We use this information to respond to you and to operate our business.

How we store and process data

• Database. Form submissions may be stored in MongoDB Atlas (United States–region hosting depending on your cluster settings).
• Hosting. This site and our serverless form endpoints may be hosted on Vercel.
• Email delivery. We may send notification emails through Resend (or a comparable provider) when a form is submitted.
• Payments. If you pay through Stripe, payment data is handled by Stripe under their terms and privacy policy; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• CAPTCHA. We may use Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce spam. Turnstile may process technical data as described in Cloudflare’s documentation and policies.

Stripe webhooks

If enabled, we may receive automated event notifications from Stripe (for example when an invoice is paid). We store minimal records of those events (such as event type and identifiers) for operations and accounting. We do not accept any responsibility or liability for the privacy policy of such third-party services (e.g., Stripe), their storage and security of your data, and your use of these services are at your own risk and peril.

Retention

We retain submissions and related records as long as needed to respond, deliver services, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. We may delete or archive older data when appropriate.

Your choices

You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information where applicable law provides those rights. We may need to verify your request.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Limitation of liability & indemnification

Lucht Applications LLC is not liable for any privacy violations, data corruption, unauthorized access (hacking), service interruptions due to hardware/software failures beyond our control, and any other legal causes of action reasonably anticipated by us or the User of these services. Further, the User agrees to indemnify and hold Lucht Applications LLC and its officers, directors, employees and agents harmless from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, and costs (including reasonable legal and accounting fees) related to (a) your access or use of our services or third-party services, (b) your violation of these terms, or (c) your negligence or willful misconduct. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM USING LUCHT APPLICATIONS LLC SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR YOUR PRODUCT AT THE TIME OF DISPUTE OR CLAIM. Any action, regardless of form, arising out of or relating to a dispute may be brought by either party not more than one (1) year after the cause of action has accrued.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where prohibited by applicable law. Any legal proceedings shall be filed in Douglas County, Nebraska.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
